How Our Network Works
Talk to a local provider
Who Will You Actually Talk To?
Good question. You will talk with an independent provider in our network. These are local businesses that run their own crews, set their own prices and do their own work. Leadershipdecisions Mold Help makes the introduction. That is all.
What Happens After You Reach Out?
You share the basics. Where is the problem? What do you see or smell? Did water get in recently?
Next, a provider in your area follows up. They may ask a few more questions. Then they can suggest a visit, an inspection, or testing. Timing depends on the provider, so ask what their schedule looks like.
What Should You Ask a Provider?
This is where you can really protect your home. Try these:
- How will you find the moisture source? A good answer includes checking leaks, humidity and drainage, not only the visible mold.
- Will I get a written quote? The answer should be yes, with the scope spelled out.
- How will you keep mold from spreading while you work? Listen for containment and clear steps.
- Do you test after the job? Many providers can confirm the work was done well.
- Can you share licensing, insurance and references?
What Are the Red Flags?
Be careful if a provider pushes you to sign on the spot. Be careful if they will not put the plan in writing. Be careful if they only talk about cleanup and never about the cause. A calm, clear provider is a better sign.
Are You in Control?
Yes, always. You can ask questions, get more than one quote and take your time. You are not required to hire anyone. Your agreement is only with the provider you pick.
